How are your products packed so that they are protected until they will be assembled at destination?
Pataviumart has always been very careful to all details, and during the phase of packaging much care is taken to ensure that the products arrive in perfect condition to the clients.
Each article of decorative lighting and related accessories are rigorously made by hand, with passion, by our artisan workers: the same attention is given for the individual packaging and then placed in boxes full of polystyrene foam for further protection, and then placed on pallets or wood cases to guarantee the security in case of collision during transportation via land/sea/air.
What are the delivery times?
Delivery times vary from item to item, depending on finish and decoration. Some types of finishing for example use gold leaf for chandeliers and lamps and as this is all carried out by hand, we have to respect the technical time necessary to guarantee maximum quality.
Generally production can vary between 6 and 12 weeks for articles from the catalogue; up to 14/16 weeks for personalized chandeliers and other custom made lighting products.
How can you distinguish an artisan made article from a serially produced one?
It is not always easy to tell the difference, but some characteristics can help you. For example, handmade chandeliers often present some small imperfections, which are not flaws, but rather show to our eyes that the article was hand-crafted, without the support of a machine.
How so you maintain and clean your products?
Our decorative chandeliers can be dusted and cleaned using a electric static cloth, or a damp cloth without the use of detergents, which could ruin the varnishing.
As regards the lampshades, the simplest method is to “dust” using air from a hairdryer in order to delicately remove the dust which is naturally deposited in the materials.
