My name is Simonetta Gomiero and I am the owner and designer of Pataviumart.

I'm a lighting consultant for residential, contract and commercial solutions.

Let me take you by the hand and lead you through this unique journey, that starting from a hundred years tradition of artisan history working with the greatest glass-masters, blacksmiths taylors and furniture-makers, has today met up with the creativity and Italian design of Pataviumart.

A journey that if you wish can lead you directly into Villa Wollemborg in Loreggia, in the Veneto region between the cities of Padua and Venice, into our showroom where your dreams can become reality, beyond any immagination!

Pataviumart started in 1959 when my father, Adriano Gomiero, as a Master of Art started the production of luxury table lamps and high end chandeliers in Padua ( from the latin Patavium ).

He was passionate about art and was an antique collector of a high level, who developed the work activity alongside the research and retail of antiques, inside the prestigious Villa Wollemborg, an historical Villa of XV Century, still today the venue of our Pataviumart showroom.

After his premature death in 1984 I decided to continue the ambitious project of my family to develop a non-conventional lighting that could satisfy the requests of clients who were demanding or interested in luxury lighting.

My great passions for ancient art, fashion and design, together with the intent to follow the work started by my parents, have allowed me to give a new impulse to the brand and the company.

Starting with the Murano glass, already used by my father, I chose to re-invent its use, decorating with this precious material not only lighting products but also furniture and design pieces.

My desire was that of transforming an object of illumination into a true work of art, unique in the world, capable to make a space completely exclusive and admired.

And it was the feedback that I received from the start, showing me that the idea of decorative lighting didn’t pleased only me: in fact, thanks to my experience of interior design matured within my family, many clients started to contact me to decorate homes and luxury villas in which artistic chandeliers of Pataviumart managed to create and elegant and refined style to those environnements, which allowed me to satisfy the needs of the most demanding clients.

Since 1990’s these requests have allowed me to travel a lot, and explore new opportunities, reaching Arab Countries and Russia, markets which at the time were little known, receiving much appreciation for the Pataviumart collections even in these Countries.

Today hand-made luxury chandeliers, 100% made in Italy by Pataviumart are to be found in many parts of the world, thanks to the capacity of our lamps and chandeliers to unite the antique processes of artisancraft with ever new materials and design, always unexpected, but never expected.

Each creation from our team starts with a research of perfection in detail so that each piece is completely personalized in the finishing process and completely hand-made by able artisans using only raw materials from Italy that bring to life taylor jewels of light impossible to reproduce in their preciousness!

Ancient techniques using precious materials like gold, silver, precious stones, crystals, Murano glass…they come together in a perfect union, creating artistic high end chandeliers, which are unique pieces of art, numbered and certified which increase in value over time.
