Today, we wish to share with you this customized chandelier commissioned by one of our client.
Unfortunately the video is not very clear….but the height is certainly important…4 meters with almost 2 meters diameter!!
This large chandelier is entirely handcrafted and realized with Murano glass, we planned to use several gardens with flowers and leaves, ispired by the classic style of the traditional Rezzonico, but at the same time we personalized this beautilful masterpiece with a unique touch. We hope to be able to show you this chandelier installed in its final location…in a few months…stay tuned 🙂

Pataviumart is a Company which designs, produces and realizes luxury lamps and chandeliers and today I wish to talk to you about our “pride and joy”: the workshop where we tailor part of our wonders.
It is like a magic workshop where finally our ideas takes shape and where little haute couture miracles are made.
The instruments we use are the most classic and simple: needle, thread, a pair of scissors and glue.
Antique techniques,handed down from generation to generation, putted together with our skills and our know-how, make every single piece a small object of art.

…Daniela has in her hands a white silk plissé shade, which creases are hand sewn, small masterpieces which last for a lifetime.
As you can see with your own eyes, our shades are entirely handcrafted, the creases are slowly shaped and then fixed to the frame with needle and thread, as Daniela is doing easily, but with great mastery.
As a matter of fact, the creases must remain orderly, they mustn’t move, they must have a direction and give a sense of homogeneity, these are the basis to make a perfect shade…

…The shade Daniela is now completing is called “Parigi”, probably this model took its name from the Ville Lumiere in fact, where it was created the first time, in the late 1800, during the Belle Epoque.
Parigi shade is very complicated to be realized and it is essential to have, in addition to the knowledge of the antiques manual skills and sartorial techniques,an unquestionable manual skill.
Normally, we use precious embroidered fabrics or silk with neutral tones.
We can see this Parigi as an example, which has a neutral tone, or this one instead to be completed with a brighter tone.
